ABOUT

We're building the Google Search Console for AI commerce.

ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, and Perplexity are quietly becoming the new front door to product discovery. Surfacly gives merchants the tooling to be visible, chosen, and bought there — the same way Search Console did for Google.

WHY WE EXIST

The problem we keep seeing.

Talk to any DTC merchant in 2026 and the same line comes up: a growing slice of their checkout traffic now arrives via "AI told me to buy this". Their analytics still attribute it to "direct" or "organic" — but the shopper never typed a Google query. They asked Copilot.

Surfacly exists for that gap. Audit the same product the way an AI agent reads it. Track which AI channels mention you, which mention your competitors. Apply the schema, alt text, and content rewrites that move the needle. Watch the curve.

The merchants we work with don't have spare engineering cycles. They have catalogs, deadlines, and a growing suspicion that the optimization playbook they trusted for a decade is quietly rotting under them.

Our job is to take the AI-discovery game from "we should probably do something about that" to "audited, fixed, deployed before lunch."

HOW WE WORK

A few principles we try to keep.

AI-first, not AI-bolted-on

Every feature exists because an AI agent reads, ranks, or reasons about your catalog differently than Google's crawler. We design for that buyer, not for legacy SEO.

Show, don't summarise

Merchants get the actual LLM responses — the verbatim text ChatGPT or Perplexity gave to a shopper. Aggregate dashboards lie; raw transcripts don't.

Speed beats perfection

10-minute setup, audits that finish before your coffee, fixes that ship the same day. AI commerce moves weekly; quarterly retainers don't fit.
